Contact the campus counseling team for the appointment you need
Austin College’s counseling page describes appointments through the Adams Center and offers consultation about outside referrals. It lists the campus counseling team’s contacts.
Explain whether you are requesting a first visit, returning to care or seeking help connecting with an outside clinician. Ask how to arrange the next appointment and what information to provide. If you have already completed a student health form, mention that without assuming the counseling team has an active appointment request. Confirm the visit details directly with the team before planning around them.

Use the current Academic LiveCare instructions
The college describes Academic LiveCare as a supplement to campus health and counseling services and publishes an access-code step for scheduling. It separately identifies the Academic Student Assistance Program.
Open the program you intend to use through the current college page. Copy the current access instructions there rather than using a code saved from a previous year or another college. If the program asks you to pay unexpectedly or cannot recognize access, pause and ask the program or college contact to clarify the account setup. Confirm the service and appointment format; a support-program contact is not automatically a campus counseling booking.

Complete student health forms in the health portal
The Health Services page directs required health forms, including mental-health history and authorization, to the Student Health Portal using AC credentials.
Check which forms are assigned to your student status and use the instructions supplied for the current term. If you have a question about a health-history item or authorization, ask Health Services what the form is intended to collect. Save the confirmation you receive and check for outstanding items. Keep that paperwork task separate from asking a counselor for an appointment or arranging records with an outside clinician.

Track the annual insurance action separately
Austin College’s Health Services page describes annual waiver or enrollment in the student insurance plan. It gives a separate insurance login format based on the student’s seven-digit AC ID and links current-year plan information.
Use the official insurance instructions to confirm which action is required and the applicable deadline. Retain the decision or enrollment confirmation, then review your student account if a charge remains unexplained. For care outside the college programs, ask the insurer and receiving practice about that exact provider and visit. Completion of a college insurance form does not establish an outside appointment’s coverage.

Considering therapy or medication management at Lyte
Lyte provides therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Ask which service and clinician fit your needs. A medication evaluation does not guarantee a prescription or continuation of a particular medication.
Lyte Psychiatry offers telehealth visits to patients who are physically located in Texas at the time of the visit. In-person appointments take place at Lyte’s Pantego clinic; this campus guide does not describe a Lyte office at the institution.
Coverage and costs depend on your specific plan, clinician, visit type and deductible. Confirm network status and expected costs before booking. A student plan, parent’s plan or campus referral does not by itself establish Lyte coverage.
Request a Lyte appointmentConfirm appointment format, availability and costs before booking. For questions, call 469-733-0848. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time. Weekend appointments are limited and offered case by case.
Send medical records and insurance details only through the practice’s approved secure intake process.
