Identify the center for the semester involved
ETBU describes campus counseling during fall and spring, while its community center also lists summer. The page makes appointments dependent on counselor availability.
When arranging care around the end of a term, name the semester and ask which center handles the request. If you have already been seen at one location, ask whether another intake is needed before a different center can consider your appointment. Write down the next contact and outstanding action. A service appearing on a summer list does not establish that a particular time or clinician has been reserved.

Contact the office as an online student
The center page gives online students a phone or email contact for telephone counseling requests and also says virtual appointments can be requested.
Explain how you attend ETBU and which appointment format you are asking about. If you will be away from Marshall, tell staff where you expect to participate and ask what arrangements can be considered there. Let the office confirm the format rather than treating the words telephone and virtual as interchangeable. If a requested arrangement is not possible, ask what next contact it recommends and who is responsible for making it.

Confirm the actual visit after making contact
The university publishes a counseling office phone and email and identifies Academic Hall for its campus center.
Keep your request date and the service name together. When staff respond, check the date, location or remote joining method, and any arrival instructions. If the offered time conflicts with class or work, explain the conflict before relying on it. When discussing more than one possible arrangement, ask which one is finally confirmed. This is especially useful when moving between a campus visit and a community-center or remote request.

Confirm the intake and telecounseling paperwork
ETBU’s counseling page links confidentiality information and an informed-consent document that includes telecounseling.
Ask the office which current materials apply to your appointment and how to return them. If you are considering a telephone or virtual visit, identify that format when asking about consent and joining instructions. Read the documents staff direct you to use and ask about anything unclear before completing them. Keep a note of remaining paperwork alongside the appointment details so you can distinguish a missing document from a scheduling problem. Use the office’s instructions for sharing personal information.

Considering therapy or medication management at Lyte
Lyte provides therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Ask which service and clinician fit your needs. A medication evaluation does not guarantee a prescription or continuation of a particular medication.
Lyte Psychiatry offers telehealth visits to patients who are physically located in Texas at the time of the visit. In-person appointments take place at Lyte’s Pantego clinic; this campus guide does not describe a Lyte office at the institution.
Coverage and costs depend on your specific plan, clinician, visit type and deductible. Confirm network status and expected costs before booking. A student plan, parent’s plan or campus referral does not by itself establish Lyte coverage.
Request a Lyte appointmentConfirm appointment format, availability and costs before booking. For questions, call 469-733-0848. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time. Weekend appointments are limited and offered case by case.
Send medical records and insurance details only through the practice’s approved secure intake process.
Questions before you arrange care
Does a summer listing transfer my campus appointment automatically?
Ask which center would handle the summer request and whether a new intake or separate booking is needed. Keep the handoff open until you have specific instructions and a confirmed appointment.

Which paperwork should I use for a virtual appointment?
Ask the counseling office which current consent and intake materials apply to the confirmed format. Check the submission method and whether anything must be completed before the visit rather than assuming a general link finishes the process.
