Check the high-school dual-credit exception first
LSCO’s TimelyCare FAQ describes access for currently enrolled students but excludes those currently in high school taking dual-credit courses. It directs dual-credit students to their school counselor to discuss available support.
If that describes your enrollment, start with your high-school counselor and explain what help you are seeking. If your status is unclear or has recently changed, ask the college to identify the applicable route. A college email or enrollment record alone should not override the stated exception. Keep any high-school appointment and college inquiry separate so you know which response is still needed.

Use the published phone route for an intake inquiry
The college’s counseling and resource page provides a phone contact, marked V/TTY, for arranging an appointment to set up an intake for services.
Tell the office your enrollment situation and whether you are asking about an initial counseling intake or help finding another resource. Ask which service the appointment belongs to and how it will be confirmed. If communication support is needed, discuss the appropriate contact method before the visit. The resource page contains many organizations; confirm that you have contacted the office responsible for your specific request.

Separate virtual registration, counseling and psychiatry referral
The TimelyCare FAQ directs eligible students to the LSCO institutional link or app. Its service list distinguishes scheduled counseling from psychiatry, which requires a referral.
Open the college’s current link and follow the service instructions for your request. If you are seeking a psychiatry appointment, ask how to arrange the required referral rather than assuming registration completes it. Check the service name and appointment details in any confirmation. For a failed login or unclear eligibility message, use the support route provided by the service or ask the college where to direct the problem.

Read the eligibility label beside each resource
LSCO’s directory includes student counseling and virtual services alongside an employee-assistance listing. That employee entry refers to employees and specified family members rather than describing a general student benefit.
When considering a listed resource, identify whom it serves and contact it about your own eligibility. If you are both a student and an employee, ask which arrangement you would be using for the requested visit. Verify community intake and financial details directly with the receiving service. A directory listing is a contact to investigate, not confirmation that every college member has the same access.

Considering therapy or medication management at Lyte
Lyte provides therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Ask which service and clinician fit your needs. A medication evaluation does not guarantee a prescription or continuation of a particular medication.
Lyte Psychiatry offers telehealth visits to patients who are physically located in Texas at the time of the visit. In-person appointments take place at Lyte’s Pantego clinic; this campus guide does not describe a Lyte office at the institution.
Coverage and costs depend on your specific plan, clinician, visit type and deductible. Confirm network status and expected costs before booking. A student plan, parent’s plan or campus referral does not by itself establish Lyte coverage.
Request a Lyte appointmentConfirm appointment format, availability and costs before booking. For questions, call 469-733-0848. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time. Weekend appointments are limited and offered case by case.
Send medical records and insurance details only through the practice’s approved secure intake process.
