Use the campus form for a non-emergency counseling request
The college’s Mental Health Counselor page links a non-emergency referral form. Students can refer themselves, while faculty or staff submitting it for a student need that student’s permission.
If you want campus counseling, use that form and identify a contact method you can check. If an employee is helping, clarify whether they will submit it with your permission or whether you will complete it yourself. Keep the request date and ask the counseling office about any unfinished next step. The page describes video, phone and office visits; confirm the actual format when the appointment is arranged.

Check TimelyCare eligibility before setting up a platform visit
Lee College’s current TimelyCare FAQ says currently enrolled students are eligible except for dual-credit students.
If you are in dual credit, contact the college counseling office about the options available to your situation instead of treating the platform’s broader promotional language as approval. If you are otherwise eligible but the account does not recognize you, explain your current enrollment to the college contact and use the official link. Keep the campus counseling request and platform account separate so you know which program should answer a problem.

Complete the college’s stated consent sequence for eligible minors
The TimelyCare FAQ directs eligible minors to create an account with their Lee College email, have a parent or guardian complete the linked consent form and wait for an email confirming completion.
Check both the student account and the consent step before assuming access is ready. If the confirmation does not arrive, ask the program which step remains incomplete; do not create replacement accounts to bypass it. Use the current English or Spanish consent link on the official page rather than a saved copy from another institution. The minor-consent process does not remove the separate dual-credit exclusion.

Ask how the platform’s psychiatry referral is initiated
Lee’s service list identifies scheduled counseling and says psychiatry appointments are accessed through referrals. It also distinguishes the platform service benefit from prescription costs.
If you are seeking a psychiatric evaluation, ask the platform team which clinician or service can initiate that referral and where the next instruction will appear. Confirm what intake and payment questions remain before booking an outside practice. A college platform benefit does not establish that another provider participates in it or that a prescription will be issued.

Considering therapy or medication management at Lyte
Lyte provides therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Ask which service and clinician fit your needs. A medication evaluation does not guarantee a prescription or continuation of a particular medication.
Lyte Psychiatry offers telehealth visits to patients who are physically located in Texas at the time of the visit. In-person appointments take place at Lyte’s Pantego clinic; this campus guide does not describe a Lyte office at the institution.
Coverage and costs depend on your specific plan, clinician, visit type and deductible. Confirm network status and expected costs before booking. A student plan, parent’s plan or campus referral does not by itself establish Lyte coverage.
Request a Lyte appointmentConfirm appointment format, availability and costs before booking. For questions, call 469-733-0848. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time. Weekend appointments are limited and offered case by case.
Send medical records and insurance details only through the practice’s approved secure intake process.

Does creating a TimelyCare account complete access for an eligible minor?
The college describes an additional parent or guardian consent form and a confirmation email. Check that sequence with the program before assuming the account is ready for visits.
