Use the Center for Counseling’s own appointment contact
The campus Center for Counseling publishes phone and email scheduling contacts and identifies its location in Longview Hall.
Use that office when your goal is a campus counseling appointment. State whether you are beginning care or returning, then ask which intake and arrival steps apply. If you are already using another service, explain that situation and ask how the offices want any necessary information handled. Confirm the actual visit before arranging transport or changing your class schedule. A general contact message is not a reserved appointment.

Ask which campus fee arrangement applies to you
The center distinguishes undergraduate residential students whose semester fees cover the service from students using its community-rate arrangement.
Tell the office your enrollment and residential situation and ask which arrangement applies to the requested appointment. Do not infer a charge from another student’s experience or a different campus service. Ask the center to explain the current cost and payment process before committing to a visit. If the answer creates a barrier, describe that specific issue and ask what options the office can discuss, without assuming a particular adjustment will be offered.

Use the online-student resource for current BuzzCare setup
LeTourneau’s Online and Graduate Student Resources page gives school-email registration instructions and ties platform access to the first registered semester for enrolled, degree-seeking students.
Start from those university instructions and check the service you want to request. If you are newly registered or account access fails, explain your status when asking for help. Do not infer appointment access solely from being able to open a website. Before booking around a trip, tell the service where you will attend and ask what can be arranged there. Keep the platform confirmation separate from any campus-center booking.
Ask about records when using both services
The counseling page says a BuzzCare counselor cannot access or update the Center for Counseling’s file.
If information needs to move between services, ask the receiving office what it needs and the sending office which authorization and delivery method apply. Confirm the recipient rather than assuming a school-linked account makes records visible everywhere. Keep a short private record of what was requested and whether receipt was confirmed. Ask each service whom to contact about its own appointment, so that a records question does not leave the scheduling task unresolved.

Considering therapy or medication management at Lyte
Lyte provides therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Ask which service and clinician fit your needs. A medication evaluation does not guarantee a prescription or continuation of a particular medication.
Lyte Psychiatry offers telehealth visits to patients who are physically located in Texas at the time of the visit. In-person appointments take place at Lyte’s Pantego clinic; this campus guide does not describe a Lyte office at the institution.
Coverage and costs depend on your specific plan, clinician, visit type and deductible. Confirm network status and expected costs before booking. A student plan, parent’s plan or campus referral does not by itself establish Lyte coverage.
Request a Lyte appointmentConfirm appointment format, availability and costs before booking. For questions, call 469-733-0848. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time. Weekend appointments are limited and offered case by case.
Send medical records and insurance details only through the practice’s approved secure intake process.
Questions before you arrange care
Will a BuzzCare visit automatically update my campus counseling file?
Do not assume automatic transfer. Ask the two services what information should be shared, what permission is needed and how they will confirm receipt.

Which instructions should an online student use to begin?
Start with LeTourneau’s Online and Graduate Student Resources page and ask the university or service to resolve any conflicting wording. Confirm your own enrollment status and requested appointment before relying on general access descriptions.
