Use the counseling portal, including as a Connect student
TCC links its counseling booking portal from the Counseling Services page. It explicitly says TCC Connect students can make appointments at any campus. The page describes both online and in-person counseling for current students.
When choosing a visit, confirm the campus or online format rather than relying on the campus associated with your course registration. If you take only online classes, tell the office that and ask which intake instructions apply. Record the appointment location, confirmation method and any form deadline together so you can distinguish a request still awaiting a response from a scheduled visit.

Ask how the short-term model fits the semester
TCC describes free short-term counseling, normally four to six sessions per semester, and referrals for longer-term support. That published description explains the service model; the office must still confirm your individual appointment plan.
If you already know you will transfer schools, leave for a placement or need ongoing support after the term, raise the calendar issue during intake. Ask when to discuss an outside referral and what contact to use between scheduling steps. Writing down the semester end and your own departure date makes the planning question concrete without assuming that every student will receive the same sequence of visits.

Use Health Services for its own referral role
TCC Health Services describes nurse consultations, health education and referrals to community health resources. Its appointment contact is separate from the counseling booking portal. The health page also states that services obtained outside the campus health center are the student’s financial responsibility.
If your request concerns a medical appointment or an existing prescribing clinician, ask Health Services which outside office or service can answer it. Explain whether you need help identifying a resource or have already been referred. Obtain the recipient’s contact information and ask about the intake process; a nurse consultation should not be mistaken for confirmation that an outside clinician has accepted the transfer.

Follow a referral through to a confirmed appointment
TCC notes that community referrals can be part of counseling. Once you receive one, create a short record containing the organization, contact date, documents requested and next action. This is especially useful when you are fitting calls around work or moving between campuses.
Ask the receiving organization about current intake availability, its location, charges and insurance verification. If it requires a release, use the sending office’s approved process. If the referral does not work because of cost, travel or eligibility, tell TCC which barrier you encountered. That gives the counselor information to use when discussing another resource.

Considering therapy or medication management at Lyte
Lyte provides therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Ask which service and clinician fit your needs. A medication evaluation does not guarantee a prescription or continuation of a particular medication.
Lyte Psychiatry offers telehealth visits to patients who are physically located in Texas at the time of the visit. In-person appointments take place at Lyte’s Pantego clinic; this campus guide does not describe a Lyte office at the institution.
Coverage and costs depend on your specific plan, clinician, visit type and deductible. Confirm network status and expected costs before booking. A student plan, parent’s plan or campus referral does not by itself establish Lyte coverage.
Confirm appointment format, availability and costs before booking. For questions, call 469-733-0848. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time. Weekend appointments are limited and offered case by case.
Send medical records and insurance details only through the practice’s approved secure intake process.
Questions before you arrange care

Are an outside doctor’s charges included in campus Health Services?
