Identify your campus and the format you are seeking when contacting the office. Check the counselor and location in the response instead of assuming that a booking applies to whichever campus you attend that day. If the listed times conflict with work or class, ask the office what alternatives you can request. A format listed on the website does not establish availability for a particular time.

Use MyViking and the Grayson account for Uwill access
The official pages direct students to Uwill through MyViking using their Grayson email. The FAQ points connection questions to Grayson Cares.
Start from the college’s current counseling instructions. If access fails, note whether the difficulty is entering MyViking, opening Uwill or finishing account setup. Give that description to the listed support contact without sharing a password. Once you can enter the service, check the appointment instructions separately; restoring access is only one part of arranging a visit.

Discuss age and additional participants before the session
Grayson says underage access and consent requirements are assessed during intake. Its FAQ also says another person’s participation in a session may require a consent form.
If you are younger than 18, tell the office before booking and ask what needs to be resolved. If you want a friend, partner or family member present, ask whether that is appropriate for the appointment and what permission is needed. Do not invite someone based only on their availability or assume the visit becomes a different type of service because they attend.

Ask the counseling office to start a records release
Grayson’s records page directs requests to the counseling office or the student’s current counselor to begin its secure release process.
State whether you want a copy for yourself or delivery to a specific receiving office. Ask for the current form, the scope of the request and the approved submission method. Confirm the recipient’s details before authorizing delivery. If the request relates to an outside appointment, check that appointment directly rather than assuming that a records transfer will also arrange care.
Considering therapy or medication management at Lyte
Lyte provides therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Ask which service and clinician fit your needs. A medication evaluation does not guarantee a prescription or continuation of a particular medication.
Lyte Psychiatry offers telehealth visits to patients who are physically located in Texas at the time of the visit. In-person appointments take place at Lyte’s Pantego clinic; this campus guide does not describe a Lyte office at the institution.
